Mr. S. Ramakrishnan Nair is a visionary entrepreneur and respected industry leader with over five decades of distinguished experience in the insurance sector. He founded Karthika Insurance in 1971, laying the foundation for an organisation built on trust, integrity, and long-term client relationships.

He began his career as a Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) agent. Mr. Nair also went on to hold leadership positions, including serving as a Chairman Member, reflecting his deep expertise and contribution to the insurance industry. His foresight, ethical approach, and commitment to customer-centric service continued to shape the values and direction of Karthika Insurance.

Mr. R. Unnikrishnan is the elder son of the founder. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Karthika Insurance. He has nearly three decades of leadership and industry experience since joining the organisation in 1995.

With a deep expertise in insurance and investment management, he plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic direction, operational excellence, and long-term growth. His strong understanding of risk management and financial planning enables Karthika Insurance to deliver structured, reliable, and client-focused solutions. In addition to his role at Karthika Insurance, Mr. Unnikrishnan also serves as the Managing Director of Karthika Investzone Capital Private Limited (KICPL), further reflecting his leadership across the financial services ecosystem.

Mr. Harikrishnan Ramakrishnan is the Chief Operating Officer and Principal Officer of Karthika Insurance. He joined the organisation in 1998. As the younger son of the founder, he represents the next generation of leadership, combining legacy & values. He is a visionary entrepreneur and industry leader with over two decades of experience across insurance, events, and advertising. Mr. Harikrishnan has been instrumental in driving innovation and operational excellence within the organisation. He has played a key role in modernizing insurance processes, with a strong focus on claims management, documentation accuracy, and client advocacy. In addition to his role at Karthika Insurance, he is the Founder & CEO of Karthika Consulting and Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (KCSPL) and WeAssist, where he continues to pioneer solutions aimed at bringing greater transparency, efficiency, and fairness to the insurance claims ecosystem.
